The annual Fall Colors Ride begins and ends at Night Shift Brewing in Everett on Sunday, Oct. 22. Bike riders should meet at 11 a.m. outside the brewery at 87 Santilli Highway in Everett, Mass.

The free ride is expected to last 90 minutes, covering about 15 miles of paved trail along the Northern Strand Trail in Everett and Malden, as well as along bike paths on both sides of the Mystic and Malden Rivers through Somerville and Medford. The terrain is mostly flat. Helmets are required.

Parking is available in a small lot at the brewery and along the street. In the case of steady rain, the event will be canceled, so keep an eye out for weather updates.
