Bike to the Sea Board Member Peter Sutton led the ride, which started and ended at Night Shift Brewing in Everett. Bicyclists, ranging in age from 1 to more than 70-years-old, rode on new portions of the trail in Somerville and over a newly-paved section in the Wellington Greenway, not far from Station Landing in Medford. Tree roots had made that portion of the trail difficult to ride on but the trail there is now smooth.

Nearly all of the ride was off-road on the Northern Strand Trail in Everett and Malden and along the Mystic River in the Mystic River Reservation in Medford. Bicyclists also crossed over to Assembly Row in Somerville

The ride started a little after 11 a.m. and ended a little after 1 p.m.
