Pedal Power Ride to the Museum of Science
September 30 @ 10:00 am – 1:00 pm

Let’s ride our bikes to the Museum of Science for their “Pedal Power: Celebrating Community Through Biking” event! On the way to the museum, we will ride along the newly constructed Green Line and Community Path Extension in Somerville! We strongly recommend that participants are confident with on-street riding. Any riders under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a parent/legal guardian and wear a helmet.
Riders who sign up in advance using the green button below will be provided a promo code to receive free entry to the Museum on Friday, September 29! (with a showing of a QR Code) Registration closes on Friday, September 29 at 12pm! Bicycle parking will be available. In addition to the ride, Bike to the Sea will have an informational table inside the museum. We will visit the museum for an hour with an optional group ride back to Malden.
The length of the ride will be 12.5 miles in total starting at the Bike Kitchen in Malden to the Museum of Science in Boston and back. Click on the map below or here for more information about the ride route. Ride is rain or shine.
A friendly reminder that those who are not Bike to the Sea members, can only join us for one ride per calendar year. Please consider becoming a Bike to the Sea member which allows you to ride with us multiple times a year.
Please reach out to us at volunteer@biketothesea.org if you would like to volunteer as a ride marshal!
