Walking Tour of Future Paths in East Somerville

Friends of the Mystic to Charles is leading another walking tour and taco party in East Somerville, and they’re giving current Bike to the Sea exclusive early-access.
Event Details
The forthcoming Somerville Community Path extension and Mystic River Paths all end in the eastern part of Somerville, but they do not yet meet.
The Friends will host a walking tour to explore a proposed connection between Assembly Sq, Sullivan Sq and the forthcoming Green Line Extension’s East Somerville stop to help unite the two regional paths. The connection could unlock off-street walking, riding, and wheeling between an amazing number of destinations.
A taco party at Taco Loco on Broadway will follow.
Duration will be approximately 2 hours, and there is a $5 registration fee (which goes towards the tacos!). The meetup location is the Play Structure at Sylvester Baxter Riverfront Playground @ 5pm.
