The whole Bike to the Sea family’s thoughts are with the injured teen and his family and we’re wishing them a full recovery. While the Northern Strand Trail does provide a safer route away from cars and trucks, it’s the street crossings that are most dangerous. We’re 100% committed to making them as safe as possible by working with our city, town, and state partners to improve infrastructure, teach bike safety, and encourage a culture of care and respect for everyone on and around the trail.
