Neighborhood View is a citizen journalism project initiated in 2014 and is part of the larger, Urban Media Arts, an interconnected hub of creativity, dialog and evolving community, located in Malden, Massachusetts. Through this initiative, UMA trains and supports local citizens to cover subjects and issues in their own neighborhood through writing and reporting and using simple media tools such as mobile phones and social media.
